ABOUT MIKE

Mike Biana, also known affectionately as "Mike B!" by fans from Miami to Washington, D.C., is a seasoned sports and entertainment host whose energy and passion have lit up venues from the 305 to the nation's capital.

Currently, Mike lends his passion for game presentation to not one but two professional sports organizations. As the In-Game Host for the WNBA's Washington Mystics, he serves as the on-camera and on-court emcee, energizing fans at CareFirst Arena. He also serves as the Public Address Announcer for USL League One's Richmond Kickers, creating an electric home field atmosphere with his dynamic vocals. Off the court, Mike serves as a Senior Associate of Special Events at WETA, Washington's flagship PBS station, where he helps plan and execute events ranging from donor gatherings to community screenings.

Prior to his time in the DMV, Mike spent six years with the Miami Marlins as Entertainment Coordinator and In-Game Host, entertaining crowds of up to 37,000 fans per game as an on-camera personality at more than 250 home games. He also served as part of the Miami HEAT's Hoop Troop for five seasons and built a strong foundation in broadcast storytelling as an Anchor/Producer for Coral Gables Television — where he earned a Bronze Telly Award in 2016 for his TV package "Mayor for a Day."

Born and raised in the Philippines, Mike was the first in his family to attend an American university, graduating from the University of Florida in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication. While at UF, he honed his craft hosting the Front Page Edition of All Things Considered and delivering poised and polished play-by-play commentary for Ocala high school football on WITG Classic Hits 104.7.
